Injection molding machine operation, various configuration time adjustment methods
Under mechanical operation, time adjustment is particularly important because if the molding time of the injection molding machine is not enough, the product may be scrapped, and if the molding time is too long, it cannot be ignored. Therefore, grasping the operation time of the injection molding machine cannot be ignored.
It can be said that 'time is money, efficiency is life'. On the premise of ensuring product quality, the shorter the cycle time, the higher the efficiency. In general, the time of an injection molding machine is divided into injection time, holding time, melt time, cooling time, ejection time, and low pressure time for mold locking. In fact, the time factor is also related to the opening and locking of the mold, as well as the speed of ejection. Now, let me introduce the method of adjusting the time of an injection molding machine:
1、 Adjustment of injection time
In general, the longer the injection time, the more saturated the product becomes. But while we prioritize quality, we also need to consider increasing production capacity. Therefore, when setting the injection time, factors such as mold and material stiffness should be considered. In principle, the injection time should be shortened as much as possible when it meets the quality requirements.
2、 Adjustment of melt adhesive time
Adjust the melt adhesive time based on the principle of shorter cooling time. The speed of sol is related to environmental temperature, back pressure, and other factors.
3、 Adjustment of cooling time
The cooling time directly affects the molding cycle of injection molded products. The shorter the cooling time, the shorter the molding time, and the higher the molding capacity. Therefore, when setting the high-pressure cooling time, as long as it can ensure smooth product molding without directly affecting deformation and other issues, the shorter the adjusted cooling time, the better.
4、 Adjustment of ejection time
The ejection time must be closely coordinated with the robotic arm. During fully automated production, the dwell time for using a robotic arm to push out is generally adjusted to 1.5-2 seconds; For semi-automatic production, if the ejector pin returns and causes the product to fall or get stuck, and the product cannot be removed, the dwell time should be adjusted to about 5 seconds. Of course, different injection molded products require specific time adjustments based on the product.
5、 Low voltage protection time
The anti misoperation device of injection molding machine is an important component of safe operation. When the anti misoperation device is used, it will reduce the efficiency of the injection molding machine. By adjusting the low-pressure position and pressure of the mold, the low-pressure protection time should be set at 1-3 seconds. The shorter the protection time, the less harm it may cause.
