Method for adjusting injection pressure and speed of injection molding machine
The working principle of an injection molding machine is to use the thrust of a screw to inject molten plastic into a closed mold cavity, and after solidification and shaping, obtain the desired product. As a production equipment for bulk plastic products, shortening the product production cycle and improving production efficiency are eternal issues while ensuring quality. Therefore, adjusting the appropriate injection pressure and injection speed is particularly important. The following is a brief introduction to the adjustment methods of injection pressure and speed for injection molding machines.
The adjustment of injection pressure and speed depends on the size of the product. Simple molds can quickly form one or two sections, while large and complex molds generally have better quality injection products in four sections. One section is slowly filled into the product gate, and the speed and pressure are generally below 30% and 40 bar, respectively; When injecting the second stage into the raised area of the front mold, medium and medium pressure (40%~60%, 30-50 bar) should be used to avoid flow marks caused by too fast injection speed; Three stages are injected into 95% of the product, and it is advisable to fill quickly to prevent the melting temperature from dropping too quickly and affecting the product forming. The speed and pressure are set at 40% to 60% and 60 to 100 bar respectively. The fourth stage starts with slow buffering and enters a pressure holding state to prevent the product from flying edges. The injection position can be determined using the short shot method, which refers to injecting the entire mold cavity without slow glue, filling only a small part each time, gradually increasing, and filling the entire mold cavity several times until finally filling the entire mold cavity to check whether the injection glue is evenly distributed. The optimal process setting for the entire injection molding pressure and speed is to ensure that the mold runs smoothly without any abnormal vibrations.
Of course, the resistance under different plastic melting states is different, which requires corresponding adjustments according to the actual situation to ensure that the injection molding machine works quickly, stably, and efficiently.
That's all for introducing the methods of adjusting injection pressure and speed of injection molding machines. I hope it can be helpful to everyone.
